Soccer Game Preview: Rocky Bayou Christian vs. Freeport

Rocky Bayou Christian and Freeport are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2018, but likely not for long. The Rocky Bayou Christian Knights will take on the Freeport Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

On Monday, Rocky Bayou Christian had just enough and edged Walton out 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Freeport was not the first on the board back in December of 2024, but they got there more often. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Rutherford 2-1. Alejandro Juarez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Bulldogs.

Rocky Bayou Christian pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Freeport, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
