McConnellsburg's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Forbes Road 3-0. The Spartans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McConnellsburg took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-5.

McConnellsburg's win bumped their record up to 10-7-2. As for Forbes Road, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. McConnellsburg will head out to take on Northern Bedford County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forbes Road, they will venture away from home to face off against Southern Fulton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give Forbes Road their first taste of in-conference action this season.
