Soccer Game Preview: Northfield vs. Broomfield

The Northfield Nighthawks will head out to challenge the Broomfield Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Northfield and Pine Creek settled for a 1-1 draw. That draw made it three straight for the Nighthawks.

Their goal came courtesy of Ariah Velasquez, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Broomfield kept a clean sheet against Windsor on Tuesday. They skirted past the Wizards 1-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wizards recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Northfield's draw gives them a new season record of 0-0-3. As for Broomfield, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.
