Softball Recap: Winnsboro Comes Up Short

Winnsboro was the 5-4 winner over Como-Pickton when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Winnsboro Raiders came up short against the Como-Pickton Eagles on Monday, falling 13-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Winnsboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Como-Pickton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Winnsboro will square off against Alba-Golden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Como-Pickton, they will challenge Lorena at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
