Volleyball Game Preview: Acalanes Dons vs. Northgate Broncos + Official Tickets

The Acalanes Dons are taking a road trip to face off against the Northgate Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Acalanes and Campolindo had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Dons lost 3-0 to the Cougars on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Dons in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Acalanes took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Northgate made easy work of Benicia on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

While Northgate won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-23.

Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Acalanes, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
