Basketball Recap: Pacific Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Pacific came into Tuesday's game having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 52-44 win over the Entrepreneur Panthers on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pacific got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurice Fitzgerald out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. Fitzgerald is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 11 or more in the last nine games he's played. Giovanni Salgado was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Pacific's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for Entrepreneur, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Pacific and Hillcrest will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on December 26th. Entrepreneur will take on Indian Springs in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
