Cox Mill put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Cabarrus Wolverines. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cox Mill was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-11.

Avayah Mckinnon paced Cox Mill's offense, picking up eight kills. Mckinnon were helped by Romey Gaeta and Alaina Walker, who contributed 13 assists each. Aiyanna Mckinnon controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mia Javier and Riley Tesh certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Javier had 20 digs, while Tesh had 11 assists and three digs.

Cox Mill's record now sits at 19-0. As for West Cabarrus, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.

Cox Mill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against A.L. Brown on the 7th. As for West Cabarrus, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Central Cabarrus on the 7th.
