Asheville won the last time they faced McDowell and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cougars blew past the Titans 9-0. Asheville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting McDowell from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Peyton Case led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Asheville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those seven matchups. As for McDowell, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-15.

Coincidentally, Asheville and McDowell will both be playing North Buncombe the next time they take the pitch. The Titans will head out to face the Black Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
