It may have taken  nine innings to finish the job, but Soquel ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Saturday. They came out on top against the Leland Chargers by a score of  7-4. The  win was just business as usual for the Knights, who after ten games remain undefeated  this season.
Soquel got a great performance from  Dylan Hull as he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
 At the plate, Soquel's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Jake Escalante, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Escalante a new career-high in  doubles (two).  Sam Whelan also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
Soquel's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-0.
