It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Norwalk ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against the Danbury Hatters by a score of 7-4. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Hatters recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Norwalk's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Danbury, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coming up, Norwalk will face off against McMahon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Senators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.73 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Danbury, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 loss against Greenwich on the 5th.
