Nipmuc Regional faced Wachusett Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Warriors blew past the Mountaineers 3-0. The win was just business as usual for the Warriors, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

Haden Houachanthara paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up 12 kills. Houachanthara got some help from Dolan Comforti and his 31 assists. Evan Donlan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Nipmuc Regional's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Wachusett Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Nipmuc Regional will venture away from home to take on Marlborough at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wachusett Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Minnechaug Regional at 12:15 p.m.
