Baseball Recap: Harmon Hawks vs. Topeka Trojans
Harmon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 20-10 to the Topeka Trojans. Even if the Hawks couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Brandon Anfinson led a balanced group of hitters, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Chad Taylor was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Harmon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Topeka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.
Harmon has already played their next contest, a 16-9 loss against Highland Park on the 11th. As for Topeka, they are taking a road trip to challenge Emporia on Friday.
