If Columbus Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cornerstone Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Ashlynn Lanning. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pacers on Tuesday thanks in part to Lanning, who had 14 kills and ten aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 16-25, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Antioch Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Mullins Marion Christian on Thursday, taking the game 3-1.
Antioch Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.
The win got Antioch Christian Academy back to even at 6-6. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Cornerstone Christian Academy beat Antioch Christian Academy 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Gators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
