Creekside Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Cherokee Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cougars will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Creekside Christian Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 46-0 win over Cross Keys. Considering the Cougars have won three matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Creekside Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Ian Terrell rushed for 121 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries and Tyler Keith threw for 109 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cherokee Christian). They really took it to Dominion Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-7 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.5 points over those games. As for Cherokee Christian, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Creekside Christian Academy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 209.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Cherokee Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 222 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
