Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tykeam Mcqueen and Wydell James Lead Eastside to Victory

Eastside won the last time they faced Palmdale and things went their way on Monday too. The Eastside Lions strolled past the Palmdale Falcons with points to spare, taking the game 57-41.

Eastside was led to victory by Wydell James and Tykeam McQueen. James went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds, while McQueen posted 14 points and seven boards. That's the most points James has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamir Devereaux, who scored seven points.

Despite the loss, Palmdale still got an impressive performance from Ethan Thornton, who had 22 points.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Palmdale, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Eastside has already played their next matchup (against Knight), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Palmdale has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Highland.
