Volleyball Recap: Keke Tenas Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Alberton + How To Watch

Two Eagle River hadn't done well against Alberton recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Panthers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Two Eagle River walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-14.

Two Eagle River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keke Tenas led the charge by getting six kills and six aces. The dominant performance also gave Tenas a new career-high in assists (seven). Another player making a difference was Lexis Sparks, who had eight digs, five kills, and two aces.

Two Eagle River's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-12. As for Alberton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
