Volleyball Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss

Clarksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Riverside Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19.

Clarksburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Clarksburg will face off against McKenzie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will square off against Huntingdon at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
