Fargo North is 6-1 against Grand Forks Central since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Fargo North came up short against Bismarck and fell 6-2. The Spartans have struggled against the Demons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Grand Forks Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 21-8 to Horace.

Sydney Tollefson and Bailey Tebelius stepped up to the plate in a big way. Tollefson went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Tebelius went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run was Tebelius' first of the season. Emiley Gereau was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Fargo North now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grand Forks Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Fargo North's way against Grand Forks Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Fargo North made off with a 16-3 victory. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
