Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Groton walked away with it. They came out on top against the Winner Warriors by a score of  51-38  on Tuesday. The  victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won seven  matches in a row.
 Winner's loss  came despite strong showings from  Carter Craven and  Shawn Hammerbeck.  Craven  posted 17 points and seven  rebounds, while  Hammerbeck  almost  dropped  a double-double with 13  points and nine  boards. Craven's big performance that  evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aiden Schroeder, who  scored six points.
Groton's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Winner,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 16-6 record.
 Looking ahead, Groton will square off against Sioux Falls Christian at 12:00  p.m.  on March 20th. One thing working in Sioux Falls Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season. Winner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
