Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Comes Up Short

Shelby County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Franklin County Flyers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Shelby County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Franklin County, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Shelby County will face off against North Oldham at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. As for Franklin County, they will take on Western Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
