Softball Recap: Serra Catholic Comes Up Short

Serra Catholic fell victim to Chartiers-Houston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 13-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Serra Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giana Foster, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Serra Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chartiers-Houston, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serra Catholic will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Quaker Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chartiers-Houston, they will welcome South Side at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
