Volleyball Recap: Amphitheater Comes Up Short

Amphitheater came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-9.

Amphitheater dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Tucson High Magnet School, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-6.

Amphitheater has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against St. Augustine Catholic on the 27th. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Salpointe Catholic on the 27th.
