Baseball Recap: Oasis Christian Sets Scoring Season-High Against All Saints' Academy

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Oasis Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the All Saints' Academy Saints 15-2 on Tuesday. The Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Chauncey Goldwire was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Oasis Christian is undefeated when Goldwire posts two or more runs, but 0-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Gall, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Oasis Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Oasis Christian's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for All Saints' Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oasis Christian will challenge Real Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Real Life Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. All Saints' Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Riverview Academy of Math and Science at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th.
