Volleyball Recap: R-S Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Polk County

R-S Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Polk County Wolverines on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

R-S Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. R-S Central will take on Crest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Polk County, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against A.C. Reynolds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
