Soccer Recap: Homer Falls Short of Soldotna in the Playoffs

Homer and Soldotna squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Homer had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars. The defeat continues a trend for Homer in their meetings with Soldotna: they've now lost five in a row.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Soldotna, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4-2.

As of now, neither Homer nor the Stars have any future games scheduled.
