Soccer Recap: Eagle River Takes a Loss

Eagle River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears, falling 5-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Juneau-Douglas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.

Eagle River's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Juneau-Douglas, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Eagle River and Juneau-Douglas will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Wolves see the pitch they'll take on Chugiak at 5:50 p.m. on the 15th. As for Juneau-Douglas, their break will end when they face West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on the 18th.
