Baseball Recap: Greater Johnstown Takes a Loss

Greater Johnstown lost against Clearfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 15-10 to the Bison. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Donte Tisinger was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Manny Hill, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Clearfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greater Johnstown will welcome Penn Cambria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearfield, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against St. Marys at 4:30 p.m.
