             The Giles County Bobcats will challenge the Lawrence County Wildcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Lawrence County took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Giles County, who comes in off a win.
 Giles County will head into Friday's  contest on the come-up: they were handed a three-point  loss in their last  matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Fayetteville  on Friday. Giles County blew past Fayetteville 38-7 on the road. The  game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  27-0.
  Caleb Oates went supernova for Giles County, rushing for 147 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.  Kareem Bryant was another key player, gaining 132 total yards and a touchdown.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Giles County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 293  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since  back in October of 2023.
 Meanwhile, Lawrence County came up short against Lincoln County on Friday and fell  28-19.
 Giles County's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lawrence County, they now also have a losing record at 1-2.
 Everything came up roses for Giles County against Lawrence County in their previous meeting  back in September of 2023 as the  squad secured  a  42-7 win. Will Giles County repeat their success,  or does  Lawrence County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
