Stanton has gone 8-1 against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Stanton Mustangs just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at 3:30 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-21, which was the final score in Stanton's tilt against Oakland-Craig on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They secured a 44-38 W over the Pioneers.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder found their leader in freshman Jayde Kreifels, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. Kreifels also posted seven blocks, which is notable because Logan View/Scribner-Snyder is 5-2 when she posts at least three blocks, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Neveah Vacha, who posted 14 points and five rebounds.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Stanton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Stanton couldn't quite finish off Logan View/Scribner-Snyder when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 35-32. Can Stanton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
