Volleyball Preview: Harper Creek Beavers vs. Pennfield Panthers        
        
		
             On Wednesday Harper Creek will have to hit the road after seven straight games at home. After both having extra time off, they and the Pennfield Panthers will dust off their jerseys to  take on  one another  at 6:30  p.m. The two teams are strolling into their  matches after big wins in their previous games.
 Harper Creek is headed into the  contest having just  posted their biggest  win since September 4th on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over Coldwater.
 The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8,  25-19.
 Harper Creek can attribute much of their success to   Addison Woodruff, who  had 12  digs, and   Taegen Anderson, who  had three  digs and 38  assists. Anderson is  on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted nine or more in the last 39 games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Pennfield got the win against Waverly  on Wednesday by a conclusive  3-0.
 After all that action, the final score was 25-20, 25-14,  25-18.
 Harper Creek's victory was  their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Pennfield, their win bumped their record up to 7-8-2.
 Harper Creek was able to grind out a solid  victory over Pennfield when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, winning  2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harper Creek since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
