Football Recap: Belleview Skates Past Buchholz with Ease

Belleview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Buchholz Bobcats, posting a 40-0 victory. The Rattlers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Hannah Mason was a one-woman wrecking crew as she threw for 146 yards and four TDs. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Jakyra Bostick did her part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 77 receiving yards.

Belleview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off seven passes before the game was over. Jazmyn Rivas led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Mason got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Belleview has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Buchholz, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-3.

Belleview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-6 win against Springstead on the 28th. Buchholz does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
