Timothy Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fightin' Irish, too.

Timothy Christian easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-6.

Bella Potempa paced Timothy Christian's offense, picking up ten kills. Potempa got some help from Elizabeth Alex and her 22 assists. Potempa was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Bishop McNamara, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
