Baseball Recap: Four Straight Road Victories for Pratt

Pratt won the last time they faced Hoisington and things went their way on Friday too. The Greenbacks were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Cardinals. Considering the Greenbacks have won three matches by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pratt's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Hoisington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pratt will venture away from home to take on Lyons on Tuesday. As for Hoisington, they will square off against Hesston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Swathers have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season.
