Basketball Recap: Aubrianna Tapia's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rangely over American Heritage

Rangely was the 53-38 winner over American Heritage when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers received a blow on Friday as they fell 53-36 to the Patriots.

Rangely's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrianna Tapia, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Scott, who scored eight points.

Rangely's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for American Heritage, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Rangely wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-26 victory against Maeser Prep Academy on the 6th. As for American Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-57 win against Manila on the 6th.
