Basketball Recap: BELIEVE Circle City Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tindley, BELIEVE Circle City was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Purdue Broad Ripple Lynx by a score of 40-31. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-27 two weeks ago.

Despite the defeat, Purdue Broad Ripple saw an underclassman step up: freshman Nadia Harris posted 14 points along with eight boards and four steals. Maloree Green was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.

BELIEVE Circle City's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Purdue Broad Ripple, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

BELIEVE Circle City will challenge KIPP Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Purdue Broad Ripple does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
