Basketball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland suffered their closest defeat since January 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Myrtle Point Bobcats by a score of 44-41. The Oakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 38-32.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Myrtle Point, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Oakland nor Myrtle Point have any future games scheduled.
