Volleyball Recap: Hoover Huskies vs. Ripley Vikings

Hoover had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Ripley Vikings 3-0 on Wednesday. The Huskies are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

Hoover was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoover to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brianna Adkins, who had three digs and 16 assists. Braelyn Adkins was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Hoover is on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 23 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 46-6-1 record this season. As for Ripley, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-16-4.

As of now, neither Hoover nor Ripley have any future games scheduled.
