Football Recap: Minneapolis Lions vs. Norton Bluejays        
        
		
             Minneapolis was the  15-7 winner over Norton when they last played one another  back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Minneapolis Lions came up short against  the Norton Bluejays on Friday, falling  35-14. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-7.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norton to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Eli Jones, who threw for 190 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.  Logan Willour helped  Jones out on the ground, rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
 Minneapolis' defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Norton, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
 Minneapolis will be playing at home against Halstead  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Norton, they will take on Beloit at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Norton's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
