Baseball Recap: Firelands Comes Up Short

Firelands fell victim to Revere and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 15-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Firelands dropped their record down to 1-5-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Revere, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Firelands will venture away from home to face off against Oberlin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Revere, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Norton on the 12th.
