Atticus Dixon tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with one or fewer earned runs. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.50 over 9.1 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Dixon and Bonny Eagle will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Cheverus at 4:00 p.m. The Scots have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
