Softball Recap: Gilman Comes Up Short

Gilman was the 13-6 winner over Phillips when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates lost 17-2 to the Loggers on Thursday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilman's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Phillips, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Gilman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Phillips, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crandon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
