Softball Recap: Albany Academy for Girls Comes Up Short

Albany Academy for Girls lost against Catholic Central on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Crusaders, falling 21-6. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Albany Academy for Girls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Catholic Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Albany Academy for Girls will be playing at home against Coxsackie-Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Catholic Central, they will head out to face off against Ichabod Crane at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Riders have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season.
