A well-balanced attack led Lincoln North Star over Grand Island in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Navigators blew the Islanders out of the water with an 88-14 final score. The victory continues a trend for the Navigators in their matchups with the Islanders: they've now won seven in a row.

Lincoln North Star's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Castor, who almost dropped a triple-double with ten points, 16 assists, and nine steals. Those 16 assists gave Castor a new career-high. J'Shawn Afuh was another key player, going 7-for-11 en route to 17 points along with five boards and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Lincoln North Star was working as a unit and finished the game with 30 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grand Island only posted two.

The win got Lincoln North Star back to even at 1-1. As for Grand Island, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Lincoln North Star and Lincoln Northeast will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Island, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Platte at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
