Baseball Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short

Valor Academy lost 16-10 to the Bert Corona Charter Knights on Monday. Valor Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnny Hughes led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs and stealing eight bases while going 4-for-5. Samuel Herrejon was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, three RBI, and one double.

Hughes wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Valor Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
