Volleyball Recap: Pamlico County Find Success

Pamlico County won the last time they faced North Lenoir and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Hurricanes walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-17.

Julia Bain paced Pamlico County's offense, picking up 21 kills. Bain got some help from Lila Mehring and her 23 assists. Bain was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Pamlico County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Lenoir, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Pamlico County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against West Carteret on the 21st. As for North Lenoir, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Greene Central on the 21st.
