Baseball Game Preview: Burncoat Patriots vs. Sutton Sammies/Suzies

Burncoat is 0-3 against Sutton since May of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sammies/Suzies at 3:30 p.m.

Burncoat is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Shepherd Hill Regional, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, Sutton never let their opponents score last Thursday. They blew past Leicester 10-0. Considering the Sammies/Suzies have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Kehowski was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Max Perry, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Burncoat's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Sutton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
