Alleghany is 0-5 against Surry Central since March of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Alleghany Trojans will challenge the Surry Central Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Trojans fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bishop McGuinness on Wednesday, sneaking past 7-6. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

William Billings was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits.
