Basketball Game Preview: Eisenhower Eagles vs. MacArthur Generals

Eisenhower hasn't had much luck against MacArthur recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eisenhower Eagles will challenge the MacArthur Generals at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eisenhower duked it out withBenjamin Davis on Tuesday. Eisenhower took a 47-33 bruising from Benjamin Davis. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, MacArthur played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Nimitz, falling 74-16. The defeat continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-20.

Things could have been worse for Eisenhower, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-29 loss to MacArthur in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Eisenhower avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
