League recap: Senatobia stuns Lewisburg in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Senatobia, who took down 95th ranked Lewisburg, 33-32. Tevin Wooten ran for 290 yards and caught two passes for 37 yards in the win.

Lafayette extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 2 this week by beating Rosa Fort, 35-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Commodores.

North Pontotoc's dynamic duo of Trey Jolly and Marcus Green proved tough for New Albany to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Jolly threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns and Green had 95 yards receiving. Jeremy Wilkes helped North Pontotoc's passing attack out by catching two balls for 15 yards.

Boston Newsome was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 36 carries, he ran for 306 yards as the Bulldogs fell to the Bulldogs. Terry Montgomery also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.

North Pontotoc's Jolly and Green have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jolly has thrown for 1720 yards this season, while Green, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 38 catches for 675 yards. New Albany's Newsome leads the league in rushing yards with 1360.

A big matchup in 4A Region 2 this week will be when Lafayette takes on Ron Price's team. At the moment, Eric Robertson's team is in first, while the Bulldogs are in fourth.
