East Grand Forks put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Grand Forks Central Knights by a score of 9-4. The Green Wave have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Cole Schmiedeberg was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hams, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

East Grand Forks pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Grand Forks Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, East Grand Forks and Grand Forks Central will both be playing Red River the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Roughriders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Green Wave will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
